Come and visit the PMCPA stall at the Pinner Village Show in the Memorial Park on Saturday 10th September from 10am.  Committee members will be on hand all day for any questions you might have about our role and aims, copies of the Pinn Piper will be available and there'll be plenty to occupy the children including the chance to win a fabulous Minions suitcase in our fun raffle.

We have had a request from Dr Patricia Wilkie, Chair of the National Association for Patient Participation (N.A.P.P) asking us to participate in a survey they are conducting on behalf of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Primary Care and Public Health. The National Association for Patient Participation (N.A.P.P) will be contributing written and oral evidence to this Inquiry in mid-December. The PMCPA is a member of N.A.P.P. and on their behalf I would like to ask for your support in completing this short survey.  It should take no more than 5 minutes of your time. Trustee Update July 2015

At the PMCPA's Board meeting on 9 July 2015, Jim Bradford formally tendered his resignation as Chair and Trustee. The Board elected Joanne Daswani as Acting Chair. Jim has made invaluable contributions to the PMCPA at several levels over the last five years. He has: helped it to make significant improvements to its efficiency in delivering voluntary patient services; held extensive discussions with PMC Management to ensure that patients' concerns were known to the PMC; successfully kick-started the complex process of making the membership of the Board more reflective of the population it serves; and taken the challenging yet necessary steps for the Association to create a robust new Constitution that will allow it to develop into an even more effective body in the future.
