As a member of the Patients' Association, I write to invite you to the forthcoming  PINNER MEDICAL CENTRE PATIENTS' ASSOCIATIONANNUAL GENERAL MEETING to be held at  PINNER METHODIST CHURCHLOVE LANEPINNERHA5 3EE TUESDAY 11th JULY 2023 at 7.30pm. There will be presentations from the Officers of the Board of Trustees together with a Q&A session. The Partners of the Pinn Medical Centre will also be present.

From the North West London Citizens Panel team Dear membersFrom 7am on Tuesday 11 April to 6:59am on Saturday 15 April there is strike action taking place by junior doctors at most NHS Trusts, including hospitals in North West London.Junior doctors are fully trained doctors with up to eight years of experience – they account for around 50% of doctors working in the NHS. This means that NHS services will be under a huge amount of pressure leading up to, and during the strike. Hospitals will be doing everything they can to keep disruption to a minimum and ensure the safety of patients.Planned tests and hospital appointments may need to be changed or rearranged so that patients who need urgent or emergency care can be treated as soon as possible. National industrial action is set to take place from midday to midnight on Wednesday 11 and Monday 23 January. It will involve London Ambulance Service (LAS) UNISON members who staff ambulances and other response vehicles, but not the call handling teams in our 999 or 111 control centres. On Wednesday 11 and Monday 23 January there will be fewer ambulances on the roads.   Patients should ONLY call 999 if it is a medical or mental health emergency. This includes unconsciousness, chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe loss of blood and choking. Patients whose conditions are not life-threatening are unlikely to get an ambulance on industrial action days. Where the situation is not life-threatening, use https://111.nhs.uk/ and where possible, it is advised that you arrange alternative transport to hospital.
