Important COVID-19 Vaccination Programme update
The Vaccination Programme will NOT be administered at the Pinn Medical Centre.
The vaccination that is being used throughout Harrow is the one developed by Pfizer. This requires TWO injections at least three weeks apart.
The must vulnerable patients will be vaccinated first following their seniority. Hence 90-year-olds have begun to receive their appointments first and this will scroll to those 80-years-of-age and then 70-year-olds and so on.
THE PINN MEDICAL CENTRE WILL NOTIFY THOSE PATIENTS BY TELEPHONE.
Every effort is being made to get through the Programme as quickly as possible. Please have patience and calmly wait for your call.
Patients are asked to ensure they arrive on time for the vaccination and NOT too early beforehand. Patients arriving too early will NOT be allowed in the building – they will be required to remain in their cars until the appropriate time.
There will be some limited toilet facilities but no refreshments will be available at the Tithe Farm site and patients are advised that they may like to bring a bottle of water with them.
The Harrow area has two Vaccination Centres presently open;
• Byron Hall, Harrow Leisure Centre
• The Hive, Barnet Football Club, Camrose Avenue
A third will open on Monday 4th January at;
• Tithe Farm Sports Ground, South Harrow
Although some of our patients have already received their first vaccination at one of the two Centres presently open, the remaining patients of the Pinn Medical Centre will use the facilities at the Tithe Farm site from MONDAY 4th JANUARY 2021.
