Who are we?
We are an independent charity. We represent patients of the Pinn Medical Centre.
All GP surgeries are required to have a Patient Representative Group (PRG). PRGs provide feedback to surgeries on patient expectations and issues. We are the PRG for the Pinn Medical Centre.
The Pinn Medical Centre Patients’ Association is Registered Charity no 1095260.
We are a founder member of the Harrow Patients’ Participation Network (HPPN). The HPPN addresses patient issues across Harrow, and is an umbrella group for PRGs in the borough.
What do we do?
We support our patients.
The PMCPA co-ordinates a team of volunteer drivers who transport patients with mobility problems from their home to the surgery (and sometimes hospital).
We publish and distribute The Pinn Piper, our association newsletter which provides information on Pinn health initiatives, Pinn Medical Centre activities, and other health related issues.
We adhere to a constitution and are governed by Trustees.
